Our story.
Amos “Benny” Good began working in the insurance industry in 1949. He developed a strong reputation and a loyal client base within Central Pennsylvania in both personal and business insurance markets. Over the years, the firm grew in product offerings, staff size, and clientele.
Benny’s son, Tim, started with the agency in 1976 but left for several years to pursue life as a trucker, driving a tractor-trailer. This business move was crucial to the firm’s future direction, but it wasn’t long before Tim returned to the firm in 1983, bringing first-hand knowledge to the agency. Tim brought an in-depth understanding of the industry’s risks, steering our focus in providing top-notch coverage for the transportation industry.

Today, Good’s Insurance Agency, Inc. has grown to a staff of over 20 insurance professionals. While we still emphasize transportation coverage, we have a full line of products available in commercial lines and personal lines offered throughout 25+ states from an East Coast office in Leola, PA.

Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware, and Susquehanna Valley announced Good’s Insurance Agency Inc. as the official insurance agency of the 28th Annual Mother’s Day Truck Convoy in 2016.
